EYV is a vegetable forward restaurant located in Pittsburgh's Deutschtown Neighborhood focusing on making vegetables the center of the plate with meats & seafood playing a supporting role while utilizing the bounty of Western Pennsylvania & East Ohio Farms whenever possible. We look forward to having you come by to "Eat Your Veggies"
What are your hours?
We are open Tuesday-Thursday 5pm - 9pm. Friday -Saturday 5pm-10pm
Are you able to accommodate Gluten Free Guests?
Yes, all of our menu may be prepared gluten free.
Are you able accommodate people w/food allergies?
Yes, we take food allergies very serious, and will do our best to offer as much as the menu as we can. The more notice we have from you the more we can prepare to take all the proper precautions and offer you as much of the menu as possible. Let your server know as soon as you arrive.
Are you a Vegetarian Restaurant?
We like to say we are a vegetable restaurant, we want to make vegetables the star which may sometimes include animal products or proteins. All of our menu may be prepared vegetarian. Please alert your server if not specified in your reservation.
Are You a Vegan Restaurant?
We are not a vegan restaurant as we use animal products but most of our menu can be prepared vegan. Please alert your server when you are seated if not specified in your reservation.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes
Are you kid friendly?
Yes, we do offer a children's menu. We have a high chair and booster seats if needed.
Do you serve alcohol?
Yes, we have a full bar. If you are interested in bringing in your own bottle of wine there is a corkage fee of $20 per bottle.
Do you accept walk in's?
Yes, we accept walk in's but reservations are recommended as we have a limited amount of seating and may not be able to guarantee you a table on busier nights.
Why am I charged a deposit to make a reservation?
We require a credit card on file to make a reservation( $10 per person for the dinning room & $60 per person for the Chefs Counter. Like booking a hotel or renting a car a hold is placed on your card to prevent no shows. Your card will not be charged until after completing your meal or if you no show your reservation. We will hold your reservation for 15 minutes after your scheduled time if we do not hear from you before marking you as a no show.
Being a small independent restaurant this policy allows us to keep food costs reasonable and results in less wear and tear on our team since we schedule staff and prepare food according to our reservations and prevents us from potentially being able to offer that table to walk-in's or guests on the waitlist.
What happens to my deposit when I arrive? Am I charge twice?
Your deposit is deducted from your final bill and will appear as a line item on your check. If you paid $20 for your deposit and order $100 of food and drink your final bill would be $80.
